You’re invited to experience Bells Up Winery, nestled in the Chehalem Mountains with hosts Dave and Sara Specter

Dave, a recovering corporate tax attorney who spent more than a decade at two Big 4 accounting firms, and Sara, a freelance business-to-business marketing consultant and writer for nearly 20 years, chucked Cincinnati suburbia in 2012, relocating to Newberg, Oregon to establish Bells Up Winery — where their wild and crazy winemaking dreams took root. This, three years after Sara insisted Dave leave a career that left him emotionally and physically spent. In the interim, Dave took his amateur winemaking hobby professional under the guidance of an renowned urban winery. 

Today — micro-boutique, un-domaine and always open by appointment — Bells Up composes handcrafted, classically-styled Oregon Pinot Noir with grapes sourced primarily from their fledgling vineyard and nearby micro-growers. Making approximately 400 cases annually, all wines are sold directly from their estate winery, where they strive to deliver a uniquely personalized wine tasting experience for each guest — and don’t take themselves too seriously.
